Bespoke Interior Design
Once walls and ceilings are up, how a room feels is still an open question. We handle dry lining, furnishings, curtains and drapes, matched to what you have in mind.
What this covers
- Dry lining as a smooth surface without wet plaster
- Wall finishes in paint, texture or wallpaper
- Curtains, drapes and solar shading including fixings
- Indirect lighting in ceiling and wall coves
- Coordinated transitions between floor, wall and ceiling
Why dry lining
Dry lining means plasterboard bonded directly to the substrate instead of wet plaster. That brings two advantages: hardly any moisture enters the building, and the surface can be worked on again after a short time. In refurbishments of occupied or working rooms in particular, that noticeably shortens the build.
Agreed before it is applied
Colours behave quite differently depending on daylight and room size - the same paint can look cool facing north and warm facing south. We look at the room in daylight before anything is decided, and match materials and details to it.
