Collection and processing of data

Personal data is only collected if you provide it voluntarily – for example via the contact form, by email or by telephone. We use this data solely to deal with your enquiry. It is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary to perform a contract or we are legally obliged to do so.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When a page is called up, access data transmitted by your browser is processed there automatically: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the volume of data transferred as well as browser and operating system details. This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to keep its operation secure.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing this website securely and reliably pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with Netlify. The transfer to the USA is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and on Netlify’s certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Contact form

If you send us a message using the form on the contact page, the details you enter – first and last name, email address, subject and the text of your message – are transmitted to us and additionally stored in the account of our hosting provider Netlify. We use these details solely to answer your enquiry.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry serves to initiate or perform a contract, and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. We delete the data once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention periods prevent this.

Map display

On the contact page we embed a Google Maps map so that you can find our location. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. When the contact page is called up, a connection to Google servers is established; your IP address and details about your browser are transmitted, in some cases to servers in the USA. If you are logged in to Google at the time, the visit can be associated with your account.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing easily accessible directions pursuant to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Further details can be found in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Fonts

The fonts used are stored on our own web space and delivered from there. No connection to third-party servers is established for this, so no data is transmitted to them either.

Encryption

This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS), recognisable by https:// in the address bar. This means the data you send us cannot be read by third parties.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you, and to have it corrected or deleted or its processing restricted. You also have a right to data portability. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Article 21 GDPR.
